Three Rivers Adoption Council

Since 1979 Three Rivers Adoption Council (TRAC) has worked so that no child will have to face a life without permanency. TRAC was founded by adoptive parents and professionals and today provides recruitment, information and referral services, counseling, family preparation, post adoption services, and parent and professional education services, to achieve and maintain maximum permanency opportunities for children and their families.

TRAC is a multi-service agency serving children who cannot remain with their birth families and the resource families who provide these children permanence. More than half the children served are African American; many are older and/or part of a sibling group that needs to stay together; and others have emotional, physical, or mental disabilities. Most of these children have experienced multiple moves in the foster care system and high percentages have been victims of abuse and neglect. TRAC works with private and public agencies to implement cooperative, cost effective programs to meet the placement and post-placement needs of these children.

Every Child, Inc.

Every Child, Inc. is a nonprofit human services agency that was founded in 1997 on the belief that all children, no matter their age, race, disability or medical condition, deserve the opportunity to grow up with a loving and lasting family.

Every Child's initial focus was on providing supports for families with medically fragile children, but it has grown to include a host of services intended to develop and strengthen the relationships among children, adults and families within their community.  Every Child, Inc serves birth, foster and adoptive families and children with special needs from Allegheny and surrounding Pennsylvania counties. This is done in a customized way that tends to individuals' specific needs. The abovementioned belief has become the basis of Every Child, Inc's mission statement and energizes its high quality, varied programs.

Our services include Family Preservation and Reunification; Foster Care and Placement Services; Wrap-Around Services for Medically-Fragile Babies and Children; Family Based and Family Focused In-Home Therapeutic Services; and Doula Pregnancy Support Services.
